Hi peeps.

I'm off to Tate Britain on Sunday morning and would like some recommendations for places to eat in the vicinity.

I'm relatively open to food styles although i don't eat seafood or fish.

If anyone has any good ideas they will be gratefully received.

Google maps hardly constitutes a recommendation :-D

The restaurant is very good and very closed until November. The members room is nice but not nice as the one at Tate Modern and is still ultimately a nice cafe.

I don't know the area so was hoping the mighty knowledge of La Cuisine could help. :-)

Cask is round the corner so is The Regency Cafe

Cask sells only guest ales and a good bar menu and was my secret weapon in BOTW and The Regency Cafe is a proper old London cafe with loose tea leaves.

Short walk across the river past MI6 to Vauxhall is Brunswick House. Inside a LASSCO salvage yard its a good restaurant that you can buy all the furniture, or anything off the walls. The food is very accomplished, they have a cocktail list that is worth a look at plus a few outside tables. Just remember to book as it can get busy. Have a mooch round the salvage yard pre/post lunch as well.
