Not too sure if this is the correct ng to post this, but it ought to be, lol.

Right, its pretty much what the title says, i'm looking for a small reliable NAS box for a small office containing 3 PC's, 1 laptop and 2 printers.

We just need it for basic file sharing and possible backups although having the ability to backup not absolutely essential, but would be nice to have.

Would also like to be able to access files remotely.

Have read some good and bad news regarding the Netgear readynas duo. Other than that there seems to be lots to choose from.

Want to stick to something thats doesn't cost the earth say > £250 - £300.

Any suggestions, reliability and ease of use more important.
I'm guessing this is an impossible dream given the price.

Thanks for the info, but in the end went for the QNap TS-209 Pro II and a couple of 500Gb drives. Lets hope I chose the right one.

No matter which one I looked at there were people for and against all of them.

Seems these NAS boxes are a bit of a gamble to get them to work with anything thats attached. But should keep me occupied for a while, lol.
