WANTED: watercooling guru!

Hi all,

looking around the site ive noticed a fair few people looking for advice on watercooling - me being one of them! anyone out there able to make a watercooling guide for dummies covering all you need to know and common mistakes and tips??

I personally find watercooling a bit confusing with all these different parts what do you need for a cooling loop, what should we take into account and most importanly how to avoid wrecking your computer if it leaks!

There's the stickies, but they're a bit dated now and don't cover everything.

There was a thread here not long ago that was looking promising, was pretty much exactly what you're after but it has fallen off the first page now and I can't remember what it was titled.

v. nice post, just need to find some info on what materials to avoid, benefits of different loops and suggestions on the best kit currently available (performance wise) ^^.

any suggestions anyone?

i have to give it too you guys - yur so resourceful, thanks for all the help on this - as soon as i can afford it i will have a new build to do...the missus will kill me.
