Wanting a printer, need advice!

Ok the missus has decided its time we get a printer, so ive had a quick look here and seen a couple on 'this week only' but am worried about the toner prices. so can anyone recommend me a nicely priced printer with cheap cartridges?

Canon 4200 or 5200, both Awesome printers. I have the 4200 and it is superb! Prints onto CD's too! Done a lot of research before i bought it and am well happy with it. The Picture prints are fantastic!

I too have it - I was bitterly dissapointed to see chipped ink tanks.

Hope you don't plan to refill, or buy non-Canon ink tanks for a while.

I don't mind paying for the ink when the quality is awesome! I will stick with the Canon inks.

how much for the ink? she'll probably be doing mostly black printing but i guess she'll like to do the odd photo or two

Not sure on the price of inks mate. No need to change them yet. Done tons of printing too!!

Quality is the key word with this printer. Awesome too!

They can be had for around £10 per ink tank.

Bear in mind there are 5 ink tanks: Black, Pigmented Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow.

Just spotted them for approx £8 a tank!! Cool
