Wanting an ultra-compact digital camera - suggestions

Yesterday I stupidly washed my Canon Ixus 40, so now it doesn't work. I'm after another small camera, maybe smaller than the ixus as that was slightly too big in my pocket.

I'm after 4-5MP and image quality the same or better than the ixus is with a decent sized LCD screen. It will be moslty be taking pictures of me on Holiday & nights out with friends.

Up to yet I've seen the Sony DSC-T7 camera at £196 & with having seen on eof these in person was very impressed by the size of the LCD screen & the thiness of it.

Has anyone else got any other suggestions, my budget is about £220.

I've narrowed it down to the S3 or the T7. I've found the Sony T7 for £187 delivered & the Nikon S3 for slightly more, so price isn't a factor.

From the reviews I've read the S3 has got:-

A better flash
6MP instead of 5MP
Uses SD insted of Memory Stick

Good Points for the Sony are:-

A Higher pixelled LCD display
Lighter & thinner
Slightly better picture quality
Faster shutter speed & shot to shot time

Decisions, decisions...

Not sure exactly how cheap you can get the T9 for, but T9 has some extra features (most notably optical image stabilisation) which would be very useful if you take pictures in low light. Personally I'd see if I can stretch that extra little bit more to get the T9.
