My doctor has recommended me to take up some exercise to see if it helps with my little anxiety problem. I always used to enjoy going to Pines or Chatsworth House on the bike when I was younger so thought it would be a great Idea to get back on the bike. :)

So the last couple of weeks I have been borrowing my brothers Hardtail mountain bike and have really enjoyed it!

I now want my own bike but I'm stuck on what to get. I'm 6ft5 so unsure what size frame I want and I have a budget of £1000-£1200 to get a bike and a helmet.

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any help

Thank you for the replies. I'm 30 in July so it's going to be an early birthday present / treat thats why I have a nice budget. I'm after a bike where I can take it on some light trails and a little bit of off road. Thanks

How about something like a 29er hardtail then if you have been enjoying the current hardtail. Someone like Canyon are very good value for money, the one linked below looks like it would be a good spec for the cash and still give you plenty to buy a helmet with.

They are direct sales only from Germany but they do have a size calculator so just measure yourself up and see what it says.

I love the look of that bike, I will add it to a list and see what others pop up! but that's a lovely bike!
