Hey guys, so basically the title, I have a YBR 125 that I got new in September 2012. I've done 2315 miles on it now and I'm just wondering what I should be looking to get for it. I haven't taken any pictures of it at the moment but basically I'm looking for guidance as to what kind of bike I could be able to get for a replacement. Might be being a little optimistic but I was hoping to get an old gsxr - 2001 maybe? what do you guys think?

Those old ZXRs are cracking bikes, but I wouldn't say 100% super bike, they are comfortable enough to be more of a super-sports tourer kind of thing.

Cheapest quote was £359 Third Party F&T - Much cheaper than I thought it would be :S and yeah, I really like the ZX 600

its a solid machine :)

things to check on them are the brakes, the tend to bind if they arnt ridden regularly and the steering head bearings, should move from lock to lock without any notchyness, thats all ive had fail on mine since of owned it from new 1998

Some bikes that I'm kinda interested in I guess, I'm not sure which of these would be best to go with. I like the Aprilia the most but it's probably too much bike for me :P

Don't disregard it purely in terms of engine displacement; the Falco doesn't have much more power than a 600cc supersports bike. It will have a lot more torque though, so it's actually easier to ride in many ways. It's also the same insurance group as most 600 sports bikes.
