Hello all,

I've currently got a 5 year old 22" budget monitor (Emprex) which has no DVI / HDMI etc, just analouge.

I'll be upgrading PC this year at some point (another story) and currently game at 1680 x 1050. Am ideally looking for a good 'bang for buck' 27" screen, doesn't have to be the best. Ideally playing the odd game, watch blu-rays, maybe plug in PS3 every now and then.

Are there any you'd reccomend under £350? 3 year warranty / known reliability would be nice :)

Cheers, how would 1080p gaming / blu-ray movies look on the Hazro monitor? I see it's resolution goes much higher and not sure if things wouldn't look right, if you know what I mean?

the iiyama b2712hds isnt bad, got it from here for £260.. great stand, very good backlight uniformity, decent blacks, ok contrast ratio only niggle i have with it is the vertical viewing angles are poor compared to my old 19" 5:4 syncmaster

A friend has recently bought an Iiyama 27", not sure what model but will go and have a look at it. The prices look good :]
