Hi

I have boiught warcraft 3 to learn the lore for wow

Does anyone know if it's possible to get warcraft to run in 1680 x 1050?

you need to edit the registry keys for the height and width. game runs excellently in 1680x1050 (i'm pretty sure it runs w+, as opposed to stretch or h-)

i can export you my reg-key for the things so that you don't have to faff-about with the registry if you want :)

It's stretch unfortunately, you'll become accustom to it in time but it's too ugly for my taste.

the warcraft series has such a brilliant storyline they really killed it off when they released WOW such a shame

btw its all on the WOW website http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/story/chapter1.html

For a dedicated Warcraft wiki try http://www.wowwiki.com (name is mis-leading as it's not just WoW content)

And Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne probably has a bit more relevance to the events in WoW than Reign of Chaos, but if you want to explore the entire lore playing both is essential IMO.

EDIT: Actually to be fair, if you want to go even further back, especially anything related to Outland/Dark Portal/Medivh then Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal is recommended too.
