Warcraft 3 and windows 10

Hi all

just installed warcraft 3, it runs no problems, but the resolution is way off, so downloaded the new patch which adds support for widescreen etc

but i cant get it to install, as my game is installed in a different directory (because its windows 10) and the patch wont detect it

any ideas ?

Are you getting the problem where the right hand side of the screen is chopped off? you should be able to manually unpack the files and copy them into the game's folder.

how do i unpack it ?

well, game seems ok, just want to play it with latest patch, its currently on 1.00

Talking at slightly cross purposes - not sure if its possible to unpack the game patch like that - there is an issue with the game some people get on 10 where one side of the screen gets cut off and was talking about the patch for that problem.

If you know the path the patch is expecting it might be possible to setup a sym or junction link in the OS.
