just started Steam up. And Warhammer 40,000 was in my Library list uninstalled :confused:

It just says 1 day left.

Is it free today or something?

Free to play weekend, ends Sunday at 1pm PDT.

Probably not worth the wait. Last Stand is good fun but it takes ages to level up to get the better wargear.

Why not? You can try Last Stand and if you like it you can buy it as a standalone for £3.25

Had a go on this earlier, wasn't too bad! I liked the Last Stand once I finally got what the hell was going on.

The RTS/multiplayer thing wasn't for me though. Prefer something along the lines of Red Alert

Where did you find £3.25 for the standalone?
Anybody else having problems finding Last Stand matches? It is taking 5-30 mins with 7500 people online..

Just type Last Stand in the search bar, comes up with The Last Standalone.

I'm not sure how that thing works. I dunno if it includes all people playing the game or just those in the multiplayer section. It definitely isn't Last Stand only though so the number of players isn't really an indication of how many are on Last Stand, though 5 minutes is an oddly long time.

I saw the advert for this being free to play for the weekend and was looking where to download the free version for ages, all i could find was the paid for version.

I definitely looked in my library yesterday and it wasn't there!

Gonna give this a try now.

I'm confused over the differences between the Last Standalone, Retribution, etc. So I may aswell buy the whole DoWII package for £25 and enjoy the singleplayer campaigns too!
