Warhawk video output Q

Hi all

A quick Q regarding Warhawk video output. I live in Japan, own a Japanese PS3 and TV, but like to buy my games in English. Just wondering if I buy Warhawk from the UK store if I will have to change my video settings to PAL every time I want to play it?

I noticed I have to do this with the Folklaw demo, but not the Heavenly Sword demo?

What type of TV do you have and what is your connection type.

Hi RP, thanks for the reply,

At the moment it's a CRT via composite,　but tomorrow, my new Sony Bravia and HDMI cable will arrive so I will connect via that. I don't know much about HDMI, but does NTSC / PAL etc matter much with that, or should all games work without video output setting issues?

I will be running it at 1080p.

NTSC/PAL 50/60hz is a non issue for digital displays connected via HDMI. Although some badly coded games may still ask you about refresh rate (I know some games on the 360 ask you this even if you are connected via HDMI/Component/VGA). I have played way too many PS3 games and downloadable titles and never been asked. PS2/PS1 games may still ask you as they were developed with non digital displays in mind. i.e. I have Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, and Auto Modellista whcih are ps2 games that do ask me the question but your LCD will support both, so it will be a non issue. If you have a query on a specific title, by all means post back.

I have never been asked for any PS3 games and I am connected to a 720P LCD via HDMI.

As that is your position after tomorrow, I can confirm Warhawk does not ask you any questions.

p.s. WARHAWK RULES. For 32 player lagless fast gameplay action it is unbeatable imo.

Thanks for the help RP2000! I'm downloading it now!! Hopefully it isn't as stupidly slow at installing as the demos I downloaded, so I can jump into a game soon!
