Warhawk: what a game!

That would be pretty much pointless, you lose all your custom outfits and warhawk paint schemes. Also that would also render the leaderboards useless.

sounds like a good plan dutch guy - im really a mouse keyboard kind of guy - is it possible to use a usb keyboard and mouse?
I have not tried it but I am pretty sure it is not possible and tbh the flying isn't too bad with the controller, the aiming on foot or with a tank is a bit more difficult as it isn't as fast as with a mouse.

Some people are getting far too good at this game, especially on the official ranked servers, its spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die, etc.

meh it's not that hard? I normally finish in the top 3 on the Ranked 32 player servers. The only people who have high death rates are idiots who jump in a Warhawk on Zones/CTF and spend the rest of the game only trying to take out other Warhawks.

Check my Ribbons, plenty of 1st,2nd and 3rds :)

Yeah baby - you used to get people doing this all the time on the BF games. The way to score high is constantly move about capturing zones. Don't hang about defending a zone once you have it but move on to the next one as if the one you have just taken gets taken back then you can re-take it again and earn more points.... if that makes sense!!!

Pretty much what i do now, Servers have been resetting for a while, but you never seem to lose your points you earn. Strangest thing that happened to me is that i went from 38 points to -25 in like 1 minute!! No team kills no nothing! No idea what happened there bit annoyed bout it but hey it happens!
I have great fun in warhawks, but never bother with dog fighting if possible, just use them to get across the battlefield fast and sneaking up on people. In the badlands map where theres a missile turrent placed in the centre of the map, good way to get loads of warhawk kills, if they dont know what they are doing when flying about. I found a good way to take out missle turrets is fly low and around hills and buildings so it doesnt get a lock, try pick up a cloak so it cant lock on you fly up behind it hover and shoot, seems to work quite well. On foot its quite useful to run around with the knife equiped as you cannot be detected, quite useful when capturing flags or defending them.
My favourite mode of transport is the tank, they seem to get ignored by warhawks, but if they do they normally tend to hover and shoot, one hit from the tank and its splash one warhawk.

Some good tips there, cheers mate :)

My own advice is to turn on Pro Flight mode for the Warhawks - if you find a guy who is absolutely destroying everyone else in his bird, chances are he is using Pro Flight mode. What it does is enables your right analog stick to bank up and down, as well as rotate on the dot. With this control method comes greater handling difficulty but more control and fluidity with your flying. I recommend opening a lan game on the map Eucadia and practice flying under and through the several bridges dotted around the map so you get a feel for it. If you can fly under all the bridges and turn around and do it again without any hassle or impact, you're good to go. It's very hard to do at first but well worth the hassle. I've even had a few players remark how I'm flying upside down all over the place.
