If you have been reading the developers blog then you will notice these guys have been aiming at a more realistic RPG and are having trouble getting publishers to fund it and have started a kickstarter. It's build in Cryengine and looks pretty amazing on the surface. anyway, here's the link and some vids explaing what it's about and showing what it looks like so far.

Na it's because we are all trying to mod Skyrim to get it to look remotely as good as this.

I just notice this comment as i have drunkenly read over a game im chuffing over, and i beg to differ, as i think chivalry has has many finer nuances (yes did cop y and paste "nuances" as im very drunk) to the combat. it's brilliant fighter (although i am crap at it) and is a brilliant combat game when you are good. the melee system stands c:mw.
