I never really checked my PSU temp before but was checking a NB temp probe after a long session on Far Cry 3 and touched the PSU to ground myself, the PSU was very warm to the touch; roughly ~ 50c ish.

I always ground myself on the PSU and never noticed it that warm/hot before. The system is in my sig and the PSU is a Cougar 1000w 80+ bronze.

Would anyone be concerned at that sort of temperature? I looked up the stats for the PSU and all I could find is that the jap capacitors in it are rated to 105c

Sometimes the fan does not ramp up to a higher speed until a certain temp is reached to ensure quiet operation.

Thanks for the replies, put my mind at rest, was wondering if the xfire was putting too much stress on it with everything being overclocked too :)
