Warning 2.42 update !!

Just updated to 2.42 and now my PS3 is trashed :mad:

All installed correctly and rebooted as normal , then went to play my game of drakes and it just froze on the screen where it says dont turn off while HDD is flashing press X to continue.
Worked fine yesterday when I was playing without update.
Tried other titles and they also wont play X button does nothing :mad:

Have you got the Buzz wireless controllers USB dongle plugged in?

Take it out and reset the console

Buzz controllers default to controller 1 when left plugged in, even if you turn the PS3 on via the controller. Unplug them or reassign your controller should fix it

Its looking for controller no.1, that will be the buzz controller so your controller wont work in game. Hold down the PS button for a second and change the controller number to 1.

Thats my one gripe with the wireless buzzers, why couldn't they have made blu-tooth models for the PS3, that dongle does my head in, guess they wouldn't have been so cheap then though.

There wouldn't be enough bluetooth channels to play with 8 bluetooth buzzers.

Yup, it has 1-8 players. Very fun at parties, though you don't get all the round types with more than 4 playing.
