Warning about voltage control in Afterburner (and HwInfo)

I want to do some undervolting in Afterburner. I'm also running Hwinfo for other monitoring.

When enabling the functionality in Afterburner, the tooltip contains this warning:

Does this mean that running Afterburner for voltage editing while Hwinfo is running as well is dangerous?
They have to cover themselves against hardware failures due to user error. HWINFO should only be monitoring.

I'm sure many others on here would confirm they have used this feature many times with no issue. I have for several years on many GPUs so just be reasonable.

Done it for years
While using hwinfo,gpuz,aida64 etc
Never caused me any problems
And I have aida64 permanently on for an external
Sensor screen

Hwinfo actually gives me a similar sort of warning
About it accessing a sensor on my motherboard
If any other monitoring softwares running
Again never caused me any problems

Back when MSI first added voltage control, if you accidentally selected a stupid voltage, you would kill your GPU. So the warning is there for that

However modern GPUs have dozens of safety nets built into the firmware and bios - and because of this no matter what voltage you select, the GPU will not go above its pre defined limits and there is zero risk of damage
