warning: another steam-hack site (i think)

This isn't a scam, I signed up to it yesterday and got tons of free games

I love entering false information into these sites, like...

Username, I_Love_Phishing.
Password, GoF**kYourself

Gives me a warm glow that they might trying that account for a while :D

Why is that?

We should stamp out criminals instead of laughing at the gullible.

Thank you for judging me :). I should point out at no point did I laugh, nor do I find it funny.

I would love to hear your suggestions on how you prevent this kind of thing from happening? Or perhaps those 'gullible' few should be kept away from things like Steam where they can be exploited. Possibly at the very least they should be supervised.

If you get rid of 1 phising site 2 more take its place. Its hardly worth the effort. If people stopped being dumb enough to click these links in the first place however...

And seriously if people click a link like that given how utterly god awful his english was... there is just no helping some people.

Look, these are the people who'd be poking sabretooth tigers for a laugh if they lived in the stone age. You have to have some way of letting natural selection do its thing. Maybe if they're broke from loosing steam accounts they won't get married and pollute the gene pool. Or something.

Wait, why is there an (I think) in the thread title?

was 99% sure :p

it popped up as a message from linktart's ocuk group on steam, but quickly found out that it was just someone unrelated to link that had joined that group as used it a 'doorway' to get to me :)
