hi guys just a quick heads up, look like bt are limiting line sync speeds without warning, my router syncs at 8mb however the pass few days i have been struggling to get 4mb, called up entanet tech support who logged a call with bt and sure enough 10 mins later and 1 disconnect and im back upto full speed. somehow they manage to raise my line attentuation from 26 up 35 and maybe it disapear instantly. anyone else having trouble with abnormal line sync speed?

Been about the same the last week or so.

Raising your attentuation figure won't increase your speeds unless the raise is due to moving from ADSL1 to ADSL2+.

In general, higher attenuation = lower sync speed.

Well it looks like BT are messing around with some down stream margins.

Titan have contacted BT to turn it back down. :)

I must SAy Titan Support is great.

Hi

Im with enta through ukfsn, until the start of the month i was synced at about 2800, i have a very poor line and use dmt tool to push it a bit. Recently however i had resynced to just over 1800, I have found that i can no longer push my snr below 6/7, it used to go below 3 to give my my 2800,

As poor as my line it this still means i have lost almost 100k in speed because my profile has dropped. Might give tech support a ring
