October for editor’s days

Nvidia is about to launch a new high end card and as far as we know Nvidia will launch G92, a 65 nanometre version of G80 with support for PCIe 2.0 interface and some other face lift changes.

The editor’s days are scheduled for October time while the real hardware launch is scheduled for sometimes in November.

We know that G92 will end up significantly cooler and faster from very successful G80 but we don’t have much more details. AMD won’t have any other high end card to fight this product until Q1 2008.

If this can coincide with Crysis release, nvidia are in for a great paycheck :D , maybe they will bundle it with the card = Instant Win.

not forgeting through, suprise suprise, heres is nvidia getting the hype up.... garuntee there will be 2-3 months of driver issues with any other game apart from crysis lol

and the driver fixes will make problems with crysis

as long as it works with crysis, i really couldnt care less.

everyone knows thats the game we've all been waiting for. the one that will 'show' us what dx10 is supposed to be about

November is sounding more awesome all the time. Unreal Tournament 3, possible Crysis, now possible G92.

You can't really ask for more in one month. :)

Im gona bet that the specs will be:
160 stream proccesors
650mhz core
1700mhz shader clock
2000mhz mem
65nm
512bit bus

It probally wont be these but this is what i would like the new g92 core to be.

:D :D

Until we get a definite Crysis release date we wont know, and until it actually goes gold i will be pessimistic, but some Nvidia guy has said some stuff and in that stuff was something about Crysis coming in September/October, which is neither here nor there really.. might as well say its coming soon.. which they are.

i won't be buying the G92 card. ;) .. i will be waiting for the next ati card to be released.. as for crysis i will be buy..

Next ATI card will be months away from G92, then probably delayed again.

Then it will probably put out the heat of a volcano and sound like a jet engine again.

Regardless - if you want to play Crysis and all the other games out at the time, with full eye candy, your going to need a G92.

How do you know that for sure? Sure they want everyone to believe that they simply have to upgrade to these new cards to get decent performance, but do you honestly believe that the last gen of cards are just magically going to become obsolete upon the release of Crysis?

if g92 is supposed to be nearly twice the performance of g80, i would hope the specs to be way up on your predictions...

It wont be twice. In real life performance, it may have 1 terflop of power but that dont mean it will be double the power.
