Warnings for 2012

Lol, the idea of a solar tantrum just tickled me...oh look, Jupiter just threw IO out of it's pram, awww, it must be teething.
 
so it's just another epic natural disaster we'll be overdue for, so thats:

super volcano
ice age
pole reversal
general epic natural disaster
sun spots


can't say i'm that worried, i could be hit by a bus tomorrow (i wont be because i'm having a lazy indoor day but the point still stands) :o

You owe me £1 for each brain cell of mine that have died off whilst reading this tripe. You break them, you bought them. I think it's somewhere around the £50,000 mark.

It was fortold that dark times would be coming in 2012, the reason why people think its to do with the sun is because once every 12 years the sun rotates, and the dark spots on the sun will be facing directly at us, this is where the really nasty solar flares come from.

The huge burst of solar energy, radiation etc will have the power to knock out most/all electrical equipement, but its not guaranteed to happen.
 
A quick read before I pop off to university and start revising. Rather than glazing over some posts, I now have this stuck in my head taking up vital revision space.

While Michio Kaku is indeed a top scientist he is also a total media whore and particularly prone to showing up on major US conspriacy talk radio show Coast to Coast AM where he is lapped up & SELLS A LOT OF BOOKS THROUGH THE EXPOSURE (capitalised because you, Magick, don't seem to recognise the industry of conspiracy in any of your posts.)

As a scientist who is very aware of the conspiracy theories and the whole 2012 bandwagon this is a pretty convenient way to tie in some media exposure, book sales and appearances without totally aligning himself with said 2012 bandwagon (and therefore ruining his career in 2013). If you don't believe me, look up how many times he has appeared on Coast to Coast and who the other regular guests are: David Icke, Ed Dames, Richard Hogland, Nancy Lieder (planet X zeta talk nutter) et al - "fringe" (pseudo) scientists, nutters and AUTHORS to a man.
