Warped floorboard (possibly)

I've not taken the carpet up, but it feels like one of the floorboards on the landing is warped.

Stupid question - Do I just get a carpenter in to sort this out?

Probably the safest option.

Whatever you do, do not be tempted to bang any extra nails in along the centreline of the floorboards as that’s where the pipes live.

I'd also suggest not using nails if you are doing this. As they'll end up squeeking - use the proper floorboard screws
