Hi Chaps,

I'm about to purchase an iPhone 3G on O2 (£35 a month 300 Mins, Unlimited Text / Internet).

I'm a poor student and will be for another 2 years :( so It's the only one that I can really afford.

Anywho, what is the skinny on warranty? O2 want £10 a month but I heard every iPhone sold gets 12 months warranty for free? slightly confused.

Warrenty = 12 months

Sounds like o2 want £10 a month for Insurance.

Alternativly why not buy a second hand iphone and put one of the simplicity sims in.

Warrenty is 12 months. This only covers faults within he phone.

the £10 is Insureance, Say if you drop phone in bath, they will replace it. Smash the screen, Replaced...

the £10 is defo worth it! I have drowned my Iphone 2 times and had it ran over once... all within 5 months, got a new phone each time.

:)

So if your a poor student i would suggest getting the insureance otherwise you may find yourself looking to buy a new £300 phone!
