I recently took my tablet back Argos and had my tablet replaced due to the buttons were freezing and unresponsive. The manager said he doesn't have to replace the tablet but will do this time.

Have just set the tablet up and there is several dead pixels plus the backlight bleed is quite bad compared to my last unit.

Where do I stand on getting this tablet replaced again as the manager made it clear he would only replace the tablet once.

thanks.

If it's within warranty then afaik they have to replace/repair or refund (if they can't do the former two).

Depends on what tablet it is as far as dead pixels go. Backlight bleed is normally a get over it scenario unless it's excessive.

The manager needs to get over himself and realise that being an Argos manager is like being the tallest midget.

If the product is faulty then they need to make it right, they can't just tell you to go away.

Also stop buying cheap crap and wondering why it's not very good.

Tablet is a Nexus 9 so far from cheap crap, was bought online on day release.

He originally said I should return the tablet back to the manufacturer as it was past there 30 days, will give them a call tomorrow although I got the last n9 in stock so not sure how that will work.

Backlight bleed there are 4 or 5 large spots and there is several dead pixel about 0.5mm long on the edge of the screen and 2 more in the centre of the screen

take a read :)

Having said that faulty pixels usually have their own 'number of pixels' clause so might want to check that out.

thanks, I have noticed the screen has a yellow tint which makes reading in the dark quite challenging on the eyes.
Pointed out the issues with the manager who agreed the screen was in worse condition than my original tablet, he said to contact customer services for a replacement as they had no stock in store ... new tablet due for delivery on Tuesday and if not happy they have offered a full refund.

Tablets are all well and good, but Kindle significantly better for actually reading on in my experience. Get a paper white or something for reading, tablet for other stuff!
