If you buy a monitor with say:

"- Warranty: 3 Years On-Site (Dell Premium Guarantee - You will receive a replacement UltraSharp monitor should even one bright defective pixel appear on the screen)"

Does this pass over if you sell the monitor?

Just curious as I am selling mine and I was asked if it came with a warranty or not.

Thanks

Technically, probably not - i'd have to read the fine print.

However, in my experience - doing a warranty replacement on a Dell monitor the dell people ask for three things:

1) The serial number (on the sticker on the back of the monitor)
2) The company name of the original reseller (eg. If you bought from OCUK, you say "Esnet Ltd")
3) The Dell Works Order Number (on the box the monitor came in)

If you can provide these three details then they should be able to use the warranty you paid for.
