i think a few months ago i read that intel would probably be having some major price reviews on all their stuff end of june, beginning of july.

but i cant find where i read it!.

i would love a Q9450 but at moment its too expensive so would be looknig at a Q6600 i guess.

i will be getting new ram and mobo so dont think the 8x multiplier would be a problem with the 9450. it seems with the right gear these can hit 4ghz under decent air coolign which would be the sweet spot for me.

which clocks very well with a good air cooler&Mboard (no surprises there) you wont be disappointed
The Q9450 is being phased out and replaced with the Q9550 for around the same price I hear
