Was I the last in line for SP1?

I know my place. I just assumed that Vista SP1 had auto updated months ago, but no - I came home today to find a message saying that new updates were available to download - and what do you know? It was SP1 finally darkening my door. I know they need to stagger the roll out to avoid maxing out the servers but this does seem a little slow, especially considering how much it affects? Anyone else using autoupdate and still waiting?

Yeah, as Paul91 said, it's partly related to your drivers. If Windows Update thinks that one of the drivers you've got currently installed might conflict with SP1, it will not present SP1 to you as an update until all your drivers are compatible. Also, I read a magazine article that said that the rollout of SP1 on Windows Update to users will be gradual, rather than all at once, to help ease the transition.

lol same happened to me this afternoon (for my laptop). I put on sp1 about 3-4 months ago and it couldnt handle the sound drivers (sound just fell apart) and then it invalidated my install... I wasnt pleased but a quick re-install put that one right....

Also ray saigs need to be no longer than 4 lines according to the rules :(
