Was it a dream or did it happen?

Have you ever woken up on a morning and suddenly thought "**** did that actually happen or was it part of a dream?"

I did this morning, at one point in my dream I sent a text to a person I hardly know saying "Wait! I went home with the wrong (girl's name)*" When I woke up this morning I started frantically checking my sent items on my phone as I wasn't sure if I actually sent it or not. Luckily I hadn't as it would have been a tad embaressing/awkward if I had.

So my question is, have you ever had this happen to you?

Yes this has happened to me but usually 2 things are different...

1 - I have usually been drinking the night before.
2 - I have usually sent the text

This is possibly why I'm quite glad that I wasn't drinking last night
