You know how it is. You're a bit bored, not got a lot to do (or that you can be arsed to do) - so you start playing with some images.

I was just doing exactly that, and came up with this.

What think ye?

I recognise one of those locations ;)

I like it actually. It's rather weird, and I'm sure if it really "works", but all the same, kinda cool.

I think it looks quite good. But i feel it would be better if all the images where the same height.

On a side note. I had a look at your paintings gallery earlier today for the first time. I really like the style :) Then a couple of hours later i was walking through Cliffton in Bristol, looked into a bar, and they had one of your paintings on the wall!! pretty cool :)

ever so slight thread hijack ;)

Gregeff, I'm got a meeting in Bristol next Friday & the rest of the day free , can you recommend/point me in the direction of anything worth looking at with my 300D at :)

300 mile round trip for a 30min meeting , isn't life fun :(

They aren't my paintings! I'm Hoodi Ansari - Sam Hunt is my cousin, but we're pretty close, and I like his work - so I link him in my sig :)

But yeah, they can be found in various clubs // bars across S. Wales and West. If ever you pop into Coffee #1 there'll be some of his work on the walls, too.

Ahha! I was wondering why you had two different names!! hehe :o It's good work though :)

Hay MrGubby do you know where in Bristol you will be??

I could sugest, maybe start up at the downs, then head over to the suspension bridge, then head down into the gorge(get some photos of me climbing the cliffs!!), wander along the A4 for a bit past the old Clifftons Rocks Railway entrance. Then you can cross the river and get some old/derilect inductrial shots. Afterwhich move on along the river further past a rather posh and modern little marina and then past the SS great Britain, ending up in the Expolre at Bristol area where the big glass ball thingy is and some other cool stuff. Infact there may be some cool stuff going on there next Friday as they will probably be setting up for the Rat Race on Saturday/Sunday. So from there you could head on up to the waterfront prehaps, lots of strange fountains and things. Then head up Corn street through the market for some nice people shots and into Castle park which can be quite nice.

Theres also the Cathederal, Wills Memorial building and Cabot tower which may be of interest. ANd are all just up from the waterfront

If i think of anything else i'll let you know!
