Was overclockin gmy CPU really this easy>?

With the fsb at 309 you're running at ~2.47GHz, 340 (2.72GHz) is going to be around the limit of what you'll get I should think. Give it a go though.

As long as your temps don't go any higher than 70/80C under load using something like IBT then you're fine. If the system crashed or fails to boot then lower the FSB slightly.

Which is precisely why i made that post. It's pointless random people chiming in info if he hasn't even got a clue what Vcore and FSB mean, i gave him a link to a beginners tutorial, he'll get more out of it and understand it better if he reads and learns about it himself rather than continuously asking question on here.

FSB*Multiplier=Core speed :)

I used to have an E6400 so I know the multi is 8x :p
