Engand v Poland (2,1) Wed 12 Oct 2005 (World Cup Qualifiers GRP6)

Can any of you know doubt proud England fans tell me if the above would have appeared on TV?

Obscure question I realise but this place is good for answering them!

If I remember correctly, it was televised and it was abysmal.

Im sure it was either on sky sports or bbc 1 most England games are.

An England qualifier would definitely have been on TV, as said either the BBC or Sky Sports would have had it.

I think that one was BBC. The pub I watched it in now has Sky but didn't then

Almost certain that i watched it at home,so must have been on BBC

Yes it was on the BBC, just before the Argentina friendly IIRC... forgettable game though.
