I am technically on my 3rd, first one had dust behind the screen, swapped it before i even left the shop. I had to pay for it before i can open it thou.

2nd one had bright blue stuck pixel

Nah, it happens everywhere and the returns are so simple.

Unfortunately they dont pay parking and petrol for when you have to take a faulty item back. If you seen it by post you are losing time with an item you have paid for to be working.

Just because the return sevice is good doesn't make it acceptable to be sold duff gear.

whist, in a perfect world, i'd completely agree with you; quality control can be good, but never perfect. if you think about how many of these things they shift out the door, their faulty rate is good. i expect they have a policy about the maximum number of dead pixels a unit can have before it leaves the factory. most people wouldn't notice one dead pixel, or a bit of dust under the screen. when you were 8, were you worrying about dead pixels? i wasn't.

it's not duff gear, it works perfectly.

All good with my white, but my girlfriend got a black at the same time and the touch screen is not attached properly. If you look closely, two sides are not glued in place and when wiping it gently you can actually feel it move :( Going to return it tomorrow.

EDIT:Bought in hemel but can it be returned to the Watford Game shop? I assume this would cause no problem.

Meh, just returned mine for an exchange (Gameplay), the left shoulder button was sticking. It wasn't broken, but just really annoying. :(

Addicted to brain training and ive only played with it for an hour - meteriod is a differnt game - the clarity is amazing.
