Washer / Dryer combo experiences?

We dont currently have a tumble dryer and have no room for one.

Was thinking to do washer / dryer combo

I know there is vented vs condensing. I have the option to drill through the wall if its worth it.

any words of wisdom if they are worth it or not?

Pretty garbage. I just used a clothes horse and dehumidifier.

Thats exaclty what we do now

We looked loosely the other day in John Lewis. 8kg wash but could only dry 4kg.
Not sure if that’s a common theme across all but no good for us with 2 young children.

it does seem to be the way they work which is a bit of a problem for us, also with 2 your children

I prefer separate units, can have then running at the same time.

if we have the space, that would be the prefered choice, but we dont.
