Washer Dryer Help (Bosch)

Hi there - I've ordered a Bosch washer dryer (WDU8H549GB) on the assumption that it has a particular feature, but the manual is confusing so I'm seeing if anyone on here can confirm.

From past dryers, the very most useful features was using the drying function as an iron for dry clothes - a quick 10 mins of heat to get rid of the worst creases. Made the world of difference.

From reading this manual there is a dry only setting where you can seemingly set a timer (called 'mytime'), but the machine drys to a certain levels of dryness. Which has made me realise, it's just going to detect the dry clothes are dry and then stop... which would be maddening.

Does anyone know if the 'mytime' setting just allows you to dry for a certain time, regardless of the actual dryness of the clothes? Thanks.

Sorry for the boring thread :o

Edit - oh, there is an 'iron assist' function that looks promising. Anyone use that...? God this thread is bleak :D

we never iron .. just go till (well it's a hanger icon) and hang them up or towels sun icon .. your getting the picture

Hmm. My tumbledryer (bosch) has drying based on humidity in the drier - there is a manual option for time based where it ignores the humidity and follows the time and heat setting blindly. The drier has a “iron” setting too.. i think it basically does what you want. Not much help… but there may be a hidden option? (Crap marketing name for the functionality you want).

I have a Bosch heat pump dryer and it crap  Mine dosn't even reverse tumble, Even very cheap tumble dryers normally do this
And the heat sinks clog up very easy and i have to completely strip the drum out and everything out of the dryer to clean them

Really wish i of bought the LG one :(

Really hope the model you bought is far better then the crap one i bought.

seems to be working, although in the air stream it does have three filters, but I know irrespective you will always get buildup. Just as you say how easy it is to service to undo that.
