Afternoon everyone, hope someone can point me in the right direction as to whats causing this!

When i hold back my indicator stalk to use some screen wash, i hear the noise that you usually get, but it takes 5/6 seconds for the screen wash to come out, but when it does its just a trickle

Tried using a needle to clear them but still the same.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Pull pipe off back of jets and operate.
Is it still a dribble.
If not, the jets are blocked (air line blow gun blown backwards through it with the pipe removed from the rear usually fixes it.

If it is still a dribble the the pump is probably blocked at source.
Remove pump and clean out the goo.

is it both washer jets that have a problem? I assume there is enough washer fluid in the tank.

an old car of mine had a blockage somewhere in the line to the nozzle, only thing that cleared it eventually was the nozzle getting frozen. the pressure build up seemed to clear the blockage.

Check the washer jets hose, there may also be a filter that may be clogged.

Sometimes you can take the hose of, get some compressed air and blow it through. Usually does the trick.

I assume you have checked under the bonnet and car for water leaking out onto the floor after spraying.
