Washing boogie bug matt?

Guise, last night i spilt some curry on my boogie bug mat

What is the best way to wash this? I dont want it getting all frizzy and hard and lose the sponge.

Any tips? this is an emergency lol

Stick it in the washing machine on a cold wash and once finished hang it up right away to dry as it can get creased quite bad if you leave it in there for too long..

Ooo curry, thats a bad food to spill, I think only milk would be worse due to the smell. They should be only to still in the washer, but not to hot.
