I have a big steelseries gaming surface. The other day I did my usual trick of knocking a can of Fosters everywhere.

I have thrown the box away, so was wondering, what would you recommend as the best way of cleaning it and getting the stale alcohol stench off it? I take it they cant be machine washed?

Throw it in the washing machine it will be fine, let it air dry over the top of something.
Assuming its one of the qck+ series, they are durable enough.

I have one of those steel series bigish mats, i just put mine in the sink bit of washing powder soak it for a bit then rinse off and let it drip dry. comes up good as new

Put it in the washing machine on a delicate wash. I've done it for my mousemat a few times, it's fine.

I've chucked a mouse mat in the washing machine before because it went a bit mouldy in storage.

It didnt get the mould out, but it didnt ruin the mouse mat either, so I'd try that if i were you.
