Washing Machine Help!

Got a bit of a problem with my Hotpoint 740 Washing Machine.

Checked online and apparently, the F-05 error that is showing means that the pressure switch (i assume for the water pump, as no water is pumped out) is stuck open....

Anyone know much about this or where I can go prodding a screwdriver?

Yes mid cycle. The water goes in fine, the drum spins etc etc
Just when it came to pump the water out...

its ok, ive sorted it - was elastic band round the pump./...
