Quick question for anyone who knows anything about washing machines...
We've just had a new washing machine delivered to us, but there appears to be a piece missing. The instructions mention a "insulation sheet of corrugated material" which is supposed to be attached to the base of the machine with some little plastic pegs. We have the pegs but not the sheet.
I've done a bit of Googling and it appears that it may just be some kind of sheet of material to deaden all the noise from the washing machine. Does this sound about right?
We've tried to contact Argos who said we should contact Hoover, but Hoover are shut for the night. I'd like to know whether it's the kind of thing I can leave off and not worry about, or whether the washing machine is going to break if we set it up without that piece. If it's fine without it I might just chase it up later...
Any ideas?
