Nuke it from orbit
Find the Queen and punch her in the ovaries
Kill it with fire

If the above isn't possible / practical...

Recently, well, to be honest, every single day of the summer style months if I have my window open a wasp will fly inside guaranteed.

I just went into the loft a few minutes ago and there was a wasp in there... So after spraying it, it somehow survived, covered in spray, went down the loft hatch and into my room  i've not seen it since.

However, about 2 more were flying around in the loft, to which a spray on each killed them both.

Im suspecting a nest, or some sort of attraction at the front of our house.

Apart from the idiot next door with a 25ft Connifer that is almost blocking our house, there is potentially a nest in the roof lining or alarm box im convinced?

Who are the best people to call for this sorta thing?

Call the council, though it would help if you could find the nest first - I think you'll get charged extra if there isn't a nest.

I'll try and look for it, don't you think it's a bit strange to have 3 wasps in the loft though...?

I've no idea - how big were the wasps? Possibly some queens who have hibernated in your loft during the winter and hatched at the same time with the warm weather this weekend. I've had 2 queens in my house last week alone  Got 'em both :p

I onced stumbled upon a number of wasp nests in my attic  the alien-esque forms creeped me out and made me paranoid about a secret army of ninja wasps covertly sneaking down the attic hatch at night, leaving me to awaken covered in angry wasps as they mockingly ate my cereal and sweets before me.

Therefore I rang up the council who put me in touch with the appropriate pest control people- this chap came along one day in his full uniform and removed the nest, killed any wasps remaining and sealed the hole which he thought they were coming in originally.

I showed my alpha prowess by hiding in the bedroom whilst all this occured and I was more than happy to sort out his cheque- bite/sting/minature claw scratch free :D

I don't like wasps :(

Get one of these
I am currently growing one, although I don't think it'll be ready until summer is over :( You can probably get an already grown one in town markets though.

You can buy a pest bomb,

The Strikeback Insect Killing Fogger Smoke Generator, supplied in a 2-pack, is a great way to start controlling crawling and flying insect pests.

Once activated a Strikeback Insect Killing Fogger releases an insecticidal smoke that fills the room it is released in and kills most crawling or flying insect such as ants (especially flying ants!), bed bugs, cockroaches, dust mites, fleas, flies, moths and wasps etc…

But then you have to get rid of the nest, mate of mine did it, would not like to try it though, I would get a pest control guy in.
