Watch advise

I've lurked around a fair bit and have noticed a number of you know a bit about watches, whereas I know next to nothing.

What I'm after is a high quality plain/simple/classic faced watch with a brown leather strap, around the region of £250-£400.

Can anyone help with some suggestions?

I have a Raymond Weil watch which is simple and very nice.
