just wanting to know if its legit before takin a stab at bidding on it, cheers!
 
haha, well said, but ive been on the bay for a good 5 years now and have had quite a few bargains in that time, but have also fallen for a few stupid items
 
e-mailed the seller asking if its 100% genuine, he replies saying:

"Well its 100% watch lets put it that way & in perfect working order"

time to report the sucker to ebay

Ive been using it for a couple years, never been had so far *fingers crossed* but mainly becuase i am so careful
 
the times i got scammed was when i tried buying the things outside of ebay, which is just ****** up as i have sold things outside of ebay and have never scammed anyone

all 3 pics are from the same listing, methinks he bought a fake watch, and then bought a box from someone
 
I'm going to make a fool of myself but I think the round hour markings are too big and the round part of the hour hand is too small. So well dodgy.

Waits for Rotty et al to tell us its a rare but real model.
 
Agree with Will Gill, bottom two look fake.

Also, giving he said "Well its 100% watch lets put it that way & in perfect working order", it's almost certainly 100% fake :p
 
are these all meant to be the same watch ?

the pics are that bad


assuming they are then


fonts on bezel are wrong

markers are too big

magnification from cyclops too small

crown guards too small

Rolex do not cover the bracelets in cellophane

The wood in the box looks cheap

The cushion is too thin and too light coloured

The fliplock on the bracelet crosses the link at the wrong position

oh and just the small matter of that Rolex don't make a blue dialled Sub with a SS dial/bezel/bracelet :p


but apart from those things it all looks fine :D

the round part of the hour hand isn't too bad but you are correct re the markers , the larger markers are only fitted to the 16610LV which has a black dial
