I have a ted baker watch that my sister got me for my 18th. Last week it stopped after a bloc party gig, i thought it must just be a battery as its over a year old, coming up to 2. Took it to the jewlers, however they changed the battery and said this was not the fault, it needs cleaning 
I would have thought that watches will be sealed (It is water proof) and therefore the internals could not get dust etc into them. Anybody who is a watch guru who can shed some light on this, i would be very grateful
