my cousin has owned one for the past several years. Your definitely right about the trends, unless it is from a limited supply or production.

proper limited versions made for a genuine reason , some watch companies produce farcical amounts of limited editions for no reason

for the best investment at the moment try and get a Panerai 203 , limited run of 150 going on sale shortly at around $18,000 and should at least treble in value immediately
