Watching Live TV Over Network With Media Center?

Hi

Not sure if this is possible but have been wondering lately if I can do this on my network. I have 2 pc's, one desktop and one laptop both running vista home premium. The desktop is setup to use media center and is practically all this machine is used for. If I want to can I set it up so I can watch the tv over the network on my laptop as this also has media center? I have read about setting up media center extenders to do this but can this be done on my laptop?

It was an MS project codenamed SoftSled. Was never made.

So no, is the answer. Not with Media Center anyway.

Ok Thanks. Seems a bit silly that you can buy an extenda to watch to accross the network using Media center but you cant use another pc to do it.

Yep

Maybe one day. There's a big MC update coming in Vista SP1, apparently (this one isn't much different to MC 2005, apart from the colour and a bit of navigation change). So maybe it'll come then...
