Watching Pirate Streams Isn’t Illegal, EU Commission Argues

It's been legal in Switzerland for years... they commissioned a third party study which found that those who download "illegally" actually buy more.

Works the same for me... I don't approve of being forced to support badly made tv/movies... and the lack of ability to return TV/movies which have been bought or rented due to their poor quality put me off buying anything before I was able to obtain the content through other means.

Once I was able to... I buy the things I like - even after I've watched it - so support the content makers worth supporting.

The American/UK legislation is outdated and pushed only by corporate interests which try to assume that every download is a lost sale... an archaic system at best.
