Watching Sky Go & Such On iPAD - Help!

Hi all,

I finally joined the 21st century and got an iPad. I want to watch movies and what not on the train to work. I don't want to stream I want physically download content.

What are the ways of doing this? I am a sky customer, but I think their service is just a streaming one? other than downloading for usenet ( which is obviously illegal) what other ways have I got to be able to achieve what I want to do?

You can buy movies from iTunes and you then have the advantage of using the cloud to download the movies to any of your Apple devices

If you are able to 'acquire' videos from another source, I use Buzz Player which can play-back all video types. I use the program to copy video files wirelessly from my NAS.

Highly recommended, if you're into that sort of thing!

What is this 'other source' you speak of?

They don't all have to be illicit sources, of course... Rips of your own DVDs, for example
