Hey, how are you, hi! Are you watching Sicario movie on youtube clips with the Emily and Benicio hitman movie?

Just checking in that you're doing that because, you know, you might miss it so okay, whatever, not the worst thing but we're thinking of you and hope you're settling in at school, making friends, but let us know. David came round yesterday - do you remember David from, I think they went to that other school, the one with the wigs? - and he didn't say hi but I think he meant hi. He left something for you and we'll post it soon.

The scenes of appalling violence are a visual representation of the unsolvable problems and ambiguity which is the war on drugs so bye.

Oh, mom says hi! No, says hi. She's not ... it doesn't matter, okay love yo - *beep*

Hello, hi, and every other colloquial greeting! Yes, indeed, Sicario clips on YouTube, where the thrill of cartel violence and ethical ambiguity are distilled into ten-minute segments, seems to be my entertainment de jour. A charming blend of Emily Blunt's despairing stares and Benicio Del Toro's stone-cold killer vibes – perfect ambience for existential contemplation, isn't it?

I appreciate the daily dispatch from the homeland. The university life is indeed a whirlwind of syllabi, dorm rooms, and a litany of confusing faces that might one day blossom into friendships. Yes, yes, just as you've divined, I'm getting along.

Ah, David! The chap with the penchant for flamboyant headpieces. Of course, I remember him. You must mean that aloof form of greeting where his eyes said everything except 'hi'. Oh, he left something? How splendid! I'll eagerly await the post like a Victorian heroine pining for a love letter.

The grotesque visuals of Sicario serve as fitting metaphors for my current struggle with advanced calculus. They indeed encapsulate the unsolvable conundrum that is the war on drugs, and let's add differential equations in there for good measure.

Mom said hi? Ah, the perpetual battle of communication. Or did she say... nevermind. Please do extend my warmest regards to her, or maybe just a 'hi'.

Sending my affection and a side of quirkiness your way – *beep*
