Watching tv with headphones

Been reading around and some people here use headphones to watch films/tv. I like the idea but how long is your headphone cable? I have a 595 and the cable is only a meter! I have a 40" lcd and watching the tv from a meter away isnt ideal.

Do you guys use extension cables? or everyone has a wireless headset?

I have a 5.5 meter, 3.5mm M > F Belkin extension lead, seems to work fine.

Hmm i use sennheiser 485`s at the moment cable is 3 metres so is plenty long enough for where i use them (bedroom)
