Im not sure if all water block braces/brackets use this as this is my first kit.

I stuck the foam onto the metal clamp that goes onto the back of the mobo then proceeded to peel off the side that would be onto the mobo, all the while thinking it will be ok i will only be using it on this mobo, what do you know had to RMA the board.

Just a question to see if anyone has done this too and what they used once they got the board back as all the foam is damaged n torn
 
I bought a new one then heated the bracket so it unstuck then put it on my dtek one. Good as new yet what pauly did is the same and wayyy cheaper.
 
Just been out and found stuff called Stormgaurd its foam and sticky on one side, looks like it should do the trick. cheers fo the info tho
 
if you really need to stick it down, stick it to the mounting bracket that way when you remove the water block the foam stays with bracket, i wouldnt stick it to both sides.
